Social Integration of Migrants and Socio-Cultural Marginalized Groups at the National and European Level (2004-2006)

This project addresses the demand for (catch-up) integration services for migrants living in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The focus is/was on the development, testing and dissemination of modules for migrants and/or socio-cultural marginalized groups.
For this purpose, regional organizations working with migrants networked with each other within the project and were made visible. Together with these regional organizations, strategies for reaching migrants were developed in order to test appropriate (catch-up) integration offers in the form of adult education modules after a needs analysis. Through these modules, migrants should be strengthened in their image of themselves and others as qualified and recognized individuals in the societies. The modules were exchanged among the project countries, evaluated and published.
