FIDEL
The Digital Library of The Future
The ACPC and the non-profit association Austria Forum are planning the project "Fidel - The Library of the Future" together with the Digital Mittelschule Graz and the Polytechnische Schule Leibnitz. The goal is to create interactive books through new tools that allow the integration of texts, images, video clips, links and a communication between users.

Digital books are supplemented and expanded by the students. FIDEL therefore opens up completely new opportunities for young people to participate:
- new impulses in the field of digitalisation
- new spaces for action and experience, with new forms of communication and changed roles
- Participation in innovative processes
- Improvement of basic skills
Topics include German/history/computer science/digitalisation/social learning/political education/ethics/law/work, etc. The work is interdisciplinary. The digital books that can be incorporated into lessons are available in the Austria Forum.
