From primary school, AHS and Hauptschule pupils through philosophy lessons

From primary and secondary school pupils through philosophy lessons (Philosophy for children) (1984 - 1987)
A total of three secondary school classes and two primary school classes were involved in this research project. The scientific monitoring took place on two levels: A thinking level (logical and creative thinking) and a personality level consisting of philosophical reflection and concrete action. The study or video recordings also provided the basis and corrective for analysing the pupils' activities.
It should be emphasised that this was the first research project in the field of philosophising with children and young people in Europe. The first school experiments in this field in Europe were also carried out within this framework.
